Blackwell Adventure

Blackwell Adventure is situated at Blackwell Court in Blackwell near Bromsgrove. It is owned by The Birmingham Scout Association. The manor House is surrounded by acres of fields and woodland.

On site there are numerous activities available to young visitors from climbing walls, abseiling, permanently erected tents and other outdoor facilities. There is also a sportshall which has been used for a variety of indoor sports. This is now being remodelled to be used as a general indoor meeting place with canteen facilities.

Our contract is to replace the commercial asbestos roof with a fully insulated plastic coated steel system along with new guttering etc. Also we are removing parts of the steel walls to be replaced by aluminium framed double glazed curtain walling including windows and double access doors. All steelwork is being painted
internally and new lighting installed.

A second phase to be carried out later will complete internal finishes with canteen facilities new flooring and complete redecoration. We have completed the roof replacement most glazing and steelwork decoration. The contract will be complete in 3 weeks time.
